A while loop runs while the condition is true:

while condition {
    // statements...
}

The condition is checked at the start, before the loop block is executed.

Example:

var item = 0
while item <= 3 { // repeats 4 times (0, 1, 2, 3)
    print(item)
    item += 1
}
